is it an offbrand servo? never heard of it. Get torq servos, high voltage tons of torque and really fast.

They will work fine. They are not an off brand, they are made by Ace, and were sold with Thunder Tiger stuff. I used a set in various helis, all 90 glow helis and they were great.

ace is hardly an off brand. the mfr epressly endorses the servo for 90 sized helis so i'm not sure what you are asking.

The DS1313 has similar torque specs (165 in/oz) to the Align DS610.
But, the DS610 is faster (0.06 for Align vs. 0.16 for the Ace RC).

The DS610 is standard equipment on the Align Trex 700 for nitro & electric (a "90" class nitro heli).

If you don't mind the slower speed, then the DS1313 should be fine in a 90-class nitro / electric with eCCMP mixing (3-servos)

Actually its 0.08 for Align 610 and 0.13 for the Ace 1313!

if you can, get a set of servo from a brand that is dependable like futaba or jr. their parts and gears are readily available from most online retailers and only take few days to ship.

don't buy servos by the ratings alone, like torque and speed, since these numbers don't tell anything about center holding power and precision. they're good at getting from point a to point b quickly with their tremendous power but in real world flying, precision flying, they feel like crap. you will likely chase trim to get them to hover steady all the time.

i use ds1313 and ds1015 myself, while they're great servos, but i wouldn't consider them again because getting replacement gears and parts for them are so inconvenient when they wear out. also their wire's to short for my liking.

Hmm yes, for not much more you can have the Futaba BLS452 which have pretty much the same specs as the 1313.
