Why did MA opt to use a Philips head bolt for the fail rotor blades instead if socket head bolts like other manufacturers? If nothing else for consistency.

Just change it out with what you want. I think it has something to do with drag.

That is the same bolt they have used for years in all of the models. It probably was for several reasons but either way that's what they include in the kits.
