You could probably get away with Trex 600 mechanics, perhaps stretching it to an 800 class heli.

That's really a 50 size fuse. I used to have one and I was going to mount a rex600e with TQ tube in it and run cable drive to the tail.

All helis and planes have an expiration date stamped on them...you only find it after you crash!!

I agree with Barry the century fuse is small and yes a 600 will work fine in it. I built one years ago but due to Century's lack of customer support I have moved on to other sources for my fuses...

cable drive is fine as long as you don't use the small one century sells.. it will not take the load... You can use Dr. Tim's tail drive adapter from starwood (Approach engineering). it is a direct bolt on to the trex and uses a very stout cable! I have been using this setup on my 60 size cobra/trex600 for over 3 years with no issues.

X2^^^^^^^ Dr Tims contour drive is awesome and a lot easier to set up then a TQ tube.

Hi dracha,

The past year I mounted the same fuselage as yours with the T-rex 600

In the video I show a litle bit of details my own tail drive solution, worked fine due the slow head speed I usually work in my projects.

Another point is: note that i'm using 700 size blades with Align 3G stablizer ( FBL), this bigger blades are more scale and help a lot to work the low head speed ( 1300 RPM's)
