im buying up stuff to round out the electronics, thus far ive only decided to use a regulator with two battery inputs, do you guys think a powerbox or something of this nature is really neccesary.

also what can i get to switch landing and navlights and maybe one extra device from from the radio..

No, it is not nessary Redundant batterys is a good idea but with todays LiPo batterys which are very reliable the wiring is the only drawback. Install a JR 7100 Rx with the soft switch and large wiring and maybe a 2S2P Lipo battery and you will be good to go.

as the wiring is not long, yout right, ill go with maybe two 3500 lipos,,i already have a regulator from another project,

i found remote on of switches for my lighting situation andf for the landing lights

I agree with Jerry,

on my EC 135 JetCat I use 2 LiPo 2500 mAh and the electronic switch from EMCOTEC, the one that is activated with a magnet. It works great, flawless, never had the sliest problem so far!
