What servos are the BEST to use on my E Aurora?

I plan on running a Bls 251 on rudder but still can't make my mind up on my 3 cyclic's.

I was thinking

JR 8717 HV

BLS 451

Any thought on any other servo's?

I plan on running the v-bar in this setup with a
CC ice2 160A LITE with a Scorpion 4035 560kv

Thanks for looking!

i have just taken some bls451's off and put the jr8917hv on they have abit less slop and feel a little more responsive . it also makes the heli wiring a lot neater as you will not need a regulator.

I ran BLS451's on my E Aurora and I pulled the 8717's off my nitro and put BLS451's on it.

Grand has the BLS451's on sale for 90.00 right now.

I don't crash... I land with style

servos
Thank you guy's for stopping by and replying!

I'am assuming all servo's get slop after awhile?
I hear from all different people's stories, usually all negative so hard to decipher from..
I like the JR line but I hear v-bar accept's futaba better.?

$90 is a great price for a servo for a .90 size heli

This is my first.90 size heli as well as FBL rig. I've flown other smaller Birds but have been out of seen for 4 years so trying to catch up... wheeew too much stuff!
Just want the best of the best..But don't we all

Check out the Spektrum H6040 servos. They are a good value and have good specs. Vbar works fine with all of the major brand servos, so no worries there. Besides, they have titanium gears which hardly develop any slop at all.

I highly recommend you look at the many products that Horizon Hobbies supports, namely the JR and Spektrum brand.

If you want to use Futaba go with BLS 451; if you want JR, 8717HV is dandy fine as well.

Your choice.

avant servos
I have savox HV sc 1268 sg. t
They have a lot of torque but SLOW!
They came with heli when I bought it
I figured it out I'm going to get either 8717HV or 8917HV servos.

8717 gears will develop slop a lot faster than the 8917. My preference it the 8917.

Everyone will punt what they use and claim it is the best choice.
Choice of servo's is a personal one and there are many great servos that will be more than up to the task, irrespective of brand.

One point to note about the Futaba servos. The BLS 451's are not the best heli servo they offer. The BLS 253 will be a better choice for a 50/600 size heli while the BLS 252 will better suite a 90/700 size heli.

slop
I think the 8917hv is best choice reading around and everyone looks to use them for the 90 size birds.
so no 451 for 90 size good to know.
If titanium gears don't get slop why aren't they using them?
I think for a $200 dollar servo should already come equipped with this metal.
yes and I agree on the totally personal preference as everything in this hobby is.

Hate to throw a spanner in the work but my JR8717HV's stripped the sacrificial gear in the hover!! Luckily landed no incident. I switched to BLS 252's.

I personally think the JR 8717HV's are the "cat's meow" when it comes to servos. I have had a great experience with them (except for the price).

I don't think I was alone with this one just google it see some others had a similar issue. I wouldn't risk another set. No comment on 8915HV not tried those.

I also have BLS 351's on my Hirobo freya OPII and they have been very solid. However the BLS 252's do feel more accurate when it comes to movement and centering.
