Hey folks, I have been away from rc helis for a few years it seems. You guessed it people, I got the bug again. I ditched everything because it was taking over my life at the time. I sold all my lipos/chargers/everything. I found my tool box that still has a ton of 450 se v2 parts NIP. I mean almost a complete 450 se v2 in parts.

Should I find a 450 se v2 used to get back into it sense I have the crash parts? Has the 450 pro v2 taken over the 450 market to the point where I sell this stuff and start back with a pro?

The stuff you have is worth almost nothing so I'd suggest building it up as a heli and fly it if you truly won't spend a lot to do that. Trex 450SE V2 parts can still be found pretty easily.

I figured as much.

How about a skorpion 2221-8 motor? Is it still in the current powerband for newer 450's or at least worth a sale?

I fly a trex 450 sport v2 with an upgraded v3 head. And I just recently purchaced that scorpion motor myself and love it, tons of power. I'd say buy a used heli for $250 or less and you are ready. Having spares is always a good thing.

Friends don't encourage friends to fly helis! It can cause part shortages.

I see you are selling everything. What's the plan? A new heli?
