This is my 2nd quad, 55 mm frame (Hoverthings) with 12 inch 3.8 APC props and 1100 KV turnigy 28mm motors. I choose the larger props just to see how they would add to stability for future FPV and AP. Turns out it is really stable but I still have some tuning and clean up, like orientation lights..
This is the first flight.

something out of a fairy tale!! .
Thanks.
I live in a heavily wooded area. Have lots of room to fly (15 acres) but lots of trees and brush so my return landings have to be somewhat careful. But I love the woods, lots of deer, black bear, snakes, fox and some common pests like raccoon, squirrels, and armadillos. Even had a gator wander across my yard a couple of times.
(Not this gator, but the snake was (Eastern diamond back rattler), and that's me).

The pinkish hue was due to being close to sunset.

My new quad next to my MA X404 for size check.

Good question. I don't know yet but tomorrow I hope to connect my EagleTree data logger and then I can tell by the current drain. Currently I have 3000 mah and 3500 mah batteries, but flight time is unknown. Also lift capability is something I hope to test later.

Here is a short flight to record the total current draw. In short fast burst climbout it shows peaks of 40A with a hoovering draw of 12A.
Total weight with battery (3000mah 3S) is 2.6 lbs.
