I am looking to build a new 50 class heli this winter. This will be my second nitro. The first being an old raptor 30. I saw the new Outrage N2 and it has really caught my eye. Just wanted to get some input from some more experienced pilots before I make a purchase. I have an OS50 hyper that I will be putting in the heli if that makes any difference. Thanks for any help you guys can give me.

Thanks,
Craig

If you are using an OS 50 for power, you will want to get a lightweight heli. The ElyQ 50-CXE is a good choice and very reasonably priced. I recommend going FBL if you haven't already. The Velocity is also very light.

If you can afford to upgrade to a bigbore 50 engine like the YS56, your options open up. The Synergy N5C is a good bet as are the Hirobo SDX, JR Vibe 50NEX and Thunder Tiger X50.

The 50 class is highly competitive and has more good helis than bad.

here's a 600n/os50 hyper. not "bangin" by today's standards, but very capable of getting it done.

Any modern 50 will do just fine.
I'm currently flying a JS Frenzy50 fbl and Frenzy 90 fbl.
Both awesome flying machines and the price can't be beat.

Miniature Aircraft Fury 55.
Superb quality
Customer service second to none
And best of all, made in the USA.

NONE of the other brands cover all these bases.

I am looking into a 50 sized bird as well. I have been impressed by what I have seen with the ElyQ 50 series. They appear to be lighter than others which increases their performance.
