i've just rebuilt my Protos 500 after the latest 'incident' but i'm noticing that it feels really soft around mid stick. punch outs are really slow too.

i just put Hitec5245s on the cyclic and i'm running everything through the Beast settings.
80% throttle in idle 1 and 100% at 2

any ideas?

My crashes are cooler than your flying! ;^)

What did you set K (collective pitch) to?
What do you have parameter B set to?

For reference, I have K set to + and - 12 degrees.
Parameter B is set for TX. I have 100% rates for both Ail and Ele.

pitch is +/- 12deg
parameter B is set to pro (solid blue i think)

i have no expo set at all, just noticed that today at lunch. Crashed the damn thing on the second flight! i just rebuilt it last night!

mostly looks like just the blades, maybe a main shaft. glad i was running cheap blades for test flying.

never get lazy with your preflight, it will get you eventually!

should have my mini P mack up by tomorrow (starting that rebuild tonight). at least i won't be completely without a Protos to fly...

My crashes are cooler than your flying! ;^)
