Angelos says that development is still in progress, so as of now there isn’t anymore information we can offer. As good as the Spartan 760 and Quark gyros were, my expectations are high for this unit.

Thanks!

Looks interesting, I have every confidence that it will be well designed and implemented. Looking forward to learning more about it...

It can only be good. If its anything like the other products. He must look into having an all in one unit. receiver, Gov and FBL, those seem to be a winner.

We'll see FBL is game is entirely different from single axis gyros. It's no suprise Spartan is making one, at this point who has not or is not? I'm only guessing but I don't think many single axis gyros are making anyone rich anymore.

...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

Hopefully it will be better than their tail gyros, they all have entirely too much built in expo. The Quark was probably the least linear responding gyro I've owned, a bit overhyped IMHO.

That just user preference , as a functional gyro they do the trick well .Piro rate is consistant and I've never had any failures plus easy setup, what more could you ask for .

Not really. When pretty much every gyro I've flown requires 10-15% positive(JR/Spektrum) expo to get the feel to my liking, and a Spartan requires 20% NEGATIVE expo to achieve a feel that is similar around center stick, but still not linear throughout the entire range, I would have to say it is probably gyro related.

I might be missing something here but I don't run any expo in gyro , I do like a sensitive setup and learned setting up gyros without any expo or sub and track in rate mode .I don't know if I'm wrong but I don't have any holding issues or failures .
