I'm putting together my E6/E7 and I am leaning toward doing the E6. What is the max battery weight I can use before it starts to affect performance. I would like to use 3800's or 4000's and possibly run 625 blades. Is 1200-1300g too heavy?

I run 12S 3300s and 4000s on my E6. The 4000 packs are just over 1200g and the performance is ballistic. No weight issues here.

What packs are you running? What is the flight time difference between the 3300's and the 4000's?

I though the 4000 Gens Ace are more like 1280-1300 grams.

Anyway, same here, running Gens Ace 3300 and buying some 4000.
performance is very good, and np problem at all with 4000's.

think of it same as a Logo 600, I would suggest if you are doing a E6 then consider around 1200-1240grams max, whether you go 10 or 12S that's the weight to be at.

I agree with OICU812 aim for max 1250 grams, ideally 1200 grams.

Just checked again, actual weight is 1254g but that includes a balance extension and extra heatshrink to make a stick pack.

However...If I was doing it over again I'd skip the 3300s and stock up on 4000s. Besides the extra flight time, they seem to have more punch and the weight difference is barely noticeable.
