They first said it would be out in the end of june. Then, they said before ircha. When that did not happen they have been saying it will ship "next week" every week since. I sure hope it ships soon.

I believe the first batch of electric FBL models went out. Not sure how many in that first batch. Nitro next to be released, then the gasser version. Brian from MA monitors this forum, maybe he will update later.

Anyone think MA is a "serious" company collecting infinite "delay announcements"?

This always seems to happen. They used to always say 2 weeks. They should give themselves plenty of time like "new for 2012" then if they get it out early everyone would be happy. Maybe keep it a secret until they are very close to releasing it. Whenever I find out about something new comming out I want it right then but after waiting for however long it takes to be released I usually loose intrest and don't buy it.

I think the kits will be worth the wait, but it is like hell waiting .
I also understand that unlike some manufacturers who rush the product out before its as 100% as possible then backpedal trying to satisfy angry consumers. they want it right the first time ...after all its AMERICAN

I AGREE AND SO DO I

Is this the Aurora Deja-Vu
That is funny, but....

thats a tough claim to make....

First you have to have a couple of years worth of "Next Weeks" under your belt, then you need to take peoples hard cold cash and hold it for over a year, then you need vids of folks working on saturdays.... then you need to delete negative posts..... then.....

Like I said thats a tough claim to make.

They didn't give one of these out at IRCHA did they?

I have confidence and hope to get one when they come out.

Whipplash
Yes they did give one away at ircha I saw that myself. That is one reason I thought it would be out by now. There was one raffeled off at a local funfly but that person has not recieved it yet.

Thats the problem of announcing before the parts/kits are available, you have nothing to gain and everything to loose.

Hard to get sales/marketing people to understand it.

whiplash
Next week. Yea im in that same boat. Im tired of that line it is wore out. I understand delays but damn. Im sure I am not the onlyone that have all the components for this bird on the shelf. I myself am not rich and having that kind of money sitting on the shelf not in a bird is crazy. And now with winter comming and not being able to fly as often im getting more pissed off. If you don't mean next week dont say it so i can cut my losses and move onto the next bird. It might not be as good as the Whiplash but I can be flying right now.

Yo! Fellas... chill out here... reallly....

Yeah, its a pain in the ass waiting on a machine you've desperately wanted for a long time now The reason why kits aren't shipping is because we're getting very last minute issues addressed. In the process of putting a kit together, every single part must be perfect, or else we can't ship. Making prototypes is easy- we can do that in a matter of weeks. If something is wrong, we can just shim it, sand it, cut it, or glue it. Putting a kit together for public release is a whole different animal.

It's either we release now, then in a month you all have to wait for us to send some "revised" part out, or "recall" the helicopter for some stupid reason, or we simply wait until it is right and ship it ready to rock and roll the first time.

So sit back, take a chill pill, and make sure you have all of your accessories ordered for your machine. We can assure you when you finally get the Whiplash, it will surely be worth the wait.

***O cool... just heard E FBL Kits are shipping today*** yaaay

Cheers
Bobby

I'm sure MA wants to get the kit out as bad as we do. Anticipation is part of the fun. I'm sure it will be worth the wait

I agree, I think MA wants these to be ready just as bad as we do. I'm sure they will be well worth the wait.

I think I'm going to try the "gasser" so I'll be waiting the longest.

I'll wait for the gasser. At least I know when I get it I won't have to buy upgrades to make it work reliably and it will be a first class machine like my MA machines in the past. I am just thankful the MA team considered us gasser guys when producing the Whiplash
