From what I have read, the 5.8 system has some dropout with areas that are heavily blocked, such as with lots of trees and the like. The lower frequencies may not travel as far but have better luck with getting through denser areas. The 2.4 can sometimes interfere when used with 2.4 tx/Rx systems. Please check into this yourself though as I am just going from a QUICK learning of these things.

I'm using the 1.3ghz without any issues .. pretty good range as well.

I did buy the 5.8 system, I only used it a little and had no issues with it. I also bought the FatShark Goggles.

What didn't you like about it? Or was it just a preference to not fly with it that way? I'm going to pick up a FPV setup soon so it is good to know that the 5.8 works well. Thanks!
