I have been looking at the XAircraft 450 Pro or the Gaui 330X-S.

I will also like to make it a FPV ... one day

Both are good choices .. Parts are Cheap and they can take some pretty good crashes with little to no damage.

I dont really like this one because its expensive, but the
rotorx 404 is built like a brick. For some reason when I was
flying mine it flipped over and accelerated into the street.
All I broke was a prop. But it is spendy for what you get.

The Fyetech.com y6 is very stable. It includes the motors and escs.
You can get their 250 dollar navigation package. and its a really reliable. The Y6 is $250 with motors and ESC's AND it has LED built in.
PLUS the the white LEDs on the bottom tell you when the battery gets low.

Also take a look at the VC450 with Naza from hoverthings.com. I have recommended that quad to a lot of people and the response has been really good. The two guys that ARE hoverthings are also very, very helpful to folks who deal with them. I have a VC450 frame with my own setup (now it's a Naza) and it really is my go-to quad.

Robert,

What payload can the Droidworx AD6- Heavy Lift RTF or UAVFrame E85 take?
What about flight time?
Do you have some video with this one in action?

Thanks already!

Best regards
Peter

Peter,

I like to keep payload on Hexas under 3 lbs. Anything more and flight time gets pretty low.

Can't beat power to weight ratio.

This is just a test video nothing special.
We use different landing gear now.

Robert,

Thanks for sharing the video and your answers. It looks very stable, did you fly during this video with gps? How does it hold with more wind?

It looks like a nice AP rig for me in the future

Yes, I was GPS mode.

Flys good in the wind. Better in no wind but that is Multi rotors for you.
