Hey guys I have been out of RC for a little while now and I have gotten the bug and getting back into it once again. I am looking for a charger that will charge and balance lipo batteries. I am only flying Trex 450 pro helis right now so the charger doesnt have to be anything over the top just something to charge and allow me to fly. I have been looking at the market and there are so many out there I have no idea what to look for or where to start...

Not easy given all the flavors out there. Anywhere from $30 all the way pass $200.

First determine what is the largest size pack you see yourself getting into. No need to purchase one that can do 8S packs when only using 4S max.

Then at what wattage you would like to charge such packs, which determines how fast they will charge, provided the batts can handle it.

That should help you narrow it down some.

From there do a search with model to find the good, bad and ugly of your selection, if any.

thanks
Hey guys I appreciate it alot. Going from 8 years in the nitro world to my first 2 helis in the electric side is really hard to deal with. There is alot more in depth with electric i have found. I am having such a hard time understanding all the information. I will start doing my homework a little better.

I will definately check that out as soon as I possibly can. I glanced over it and it looks like it may help me out.
