I am sorry, but I am not going to waste my time doing FCCO "testing". I have told you before that those results mean absolutely nothing to me. There are too many variances to make it viable.

Let me ask you this. During a FCCO, will the engine get to its maximum operating temp? During no other time in flying the engine will get hotter than it does during a FCCO?

If you want to see those numbers, buy a quart and do your FCCO "testing".
Numbers mean alot more to me than I like this fuel better than that.
Numbers can be used to say what you want them to say. I did not say I just liked the fuel better than the others. What I am saying is that it performs better than the others. I like Blue, but that does not make it better than Red. SEF performed better, so that makes it better than 87 pump gas .

Raja, YOU need to think like the 3D guy you are not,

what did sparx say, zapping to the top of an Auto is not (not) going to show the advantages of the fuel,

and as for RPM >,, think> Pitch Loads and works an Engine harder than RPM alone does, and Autos allows the Engine to cool,, but in a long hard 3D flight where the Engine gets HOT from being Loaded Hard and Pulling Hard at different Throttle Setting WILL show the advantages of this fuel

sorry sparx, I know you can stand up for yourself !!

9 bucks a quart and four quarts in a gallon so is it 36 bucks a gallon then?? How much for shipping?? And what ratio of oil to gas??
This is looking worse than white gas .
Sparx say's it's the answer ,,,obviously it is not the price.
I will wait to see what sparx's proof here is. I will wait for his proof. He is very upbeat lately about this and I think we should hear from him!

SPARX??

I have never used this stuff ,,only Amsoil DOMINATOR and now Penziol Marine at the advise of Hanson on my 29cc and now my old 26cc Pro Plus which I have been flying since 2007 still as received from Hanson with no problems.

As I said in an earlier post, I use it exclusively now and in a wide variety of applications. I use the Pre Mix 40 to 1, 50 to 1, and straight. I find it runs well, consistently, and no ill effects from storage. But just like anything else, what I like you may not

from a drag racer - engine builder perspective..... I run 1000+ horsepower down the dragstrip on pump fuel with a custom blower on a custom engine so believe me researching different fuels is a hobby of mine to say the least.... Simply put, higher octane = less likely to pre detonate in otherwords less igniteability... this will allow an engine to run cooler which allows more advanced timing, and compression, which is where the power comes from.... that being said........ you will not notice a difference in torque or horsepower output between 87 octane and 94 octane (in a fixed timing engine) however the engine may run cooler with the higher octane making it feel as though you were operating at 20 degrees cooler ambient..... its all about compression, above 11:1 compression you need at least 92 octane, above 14:1 you need 100 octane, I run 15.1:1 in my rod under 12 lbs of boost with 110 octane and methanol injection... if you really want a power increase with lower engine temps then jack up the compression and switch over to e-85, just remember if you run lean it will melt the piston instantly... by the way it takes 40% more e-85 fuel to make the same power, so just double your fuel delivery!!

The reason Raja says more power for low octane is because it is a true fact, it ignites fast and hotter and therefore makes a small increase in output at the expense of higher engine temps... so for anything less than 80 degress outside run 87 octane and above that run 92.... or for most people in this hobby, just do whatever you want.

As for me I'll stick with the cheap stuff!!

I have no doubt the stuff works ok. As for more power ..I will have to see it to believe it and as of now doubt it.
The price is what is unacceptable to me. Nitro 30% is cheaper than this stuff and makes ALOT more power.
