Looks fantastic. Very neat setup.

You might want to check the head as it looks like one of the damper rings has come out and the spindle is uneven.

Good luck.

Either add shims to take out any slop or like I mentioned, one piece dampers such as kbdd or trueblood (both available from readyheli I believe).

In case you do want one piece dampers....

Trueblood(still have to use 1 o-ring on the inside)

Hi 3D-ALEX

Thanks for the info.

I will try a set of hard dampers (i have them) and find some larger diameter shims to try 'keep them in'

This could explain the funny wobble/shake i had on the last flight.

Regards
Paul

That would definitely cause a shake. Make absolute certain that there is no lateral play. Enjoy!

Hi Guys

Thanks for the replies.

Probably one of the nicest feels i have had on a heli. It is lite and easy to fly, but when needed it is fast, powerful and quick on the controls. Very un-intimidating.

I test flew a Goblin yesterday. It is completely different. Big, powerful and VERY intimidating. It is a monster not a Goblin!!!

crunch: the wire going 'up towards the head' is one of the Futaba antennae wires. It is glued in with a dab of shoo glue. The second one is under the rear swash servo. in the corner, going backwards.

Regards
Paul

Very nice Paul! You can also use two shims per side in between radial and damper for a thickness of 1mm, this tightens the head a ton and keeps things in check.

...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

Hi Guys

The Mikado shim is 8 x 11 x 0,5

I was thinking of getting a shim with a larger OD.
I have 8 x 13 x 0,5

Will this touch on the head block when the dampers compress?

Regards
Paul
