I'm having an issue with my T-rex450 pro getting it to piro flat. I have rotation equalization on with the direction correct and rot.hist = 16 and when I do a piro the nose of the heli drops. Then it stays that way so it piros wobbles with the nose down. I completed the trim flight and the heli piro's fine when in normal mode.

Any suggestions?

IT's what I do.

Jordan, Neil,

I need you to do me a favor since the issues you were having were annoying to you but not dangerous to the model. If you didn't already do so along the way, would you please reflash 1.2 and confirm that your issue reappears?

Today I reflashed back and forth between 1.2 and 1.1, and my model showed no difference in the amount of gain it would tolerate or in trim.

I am not for one minute refuting you guys were seeing what you were. I'm just trying to understand and get to the root of your problem.

Ben

Just back from test flight with no joy
The 700E I just updated flys the same as the other 2 now
With drift
The 700E was on stock settings flying fine
Until update
Flicking switch from norm to rate mode there is not a huge change in the hover yet before update was quite a diffence ie flick into rate mode and it's locked in

As for the other 2 helis I flashed back to V1.1 then back to V1.2 and still hovers with drift

I also booted up in throttle hold like you said with no luck still drifts

So V1.2 flys worse and only good thing is I get more flights per receiver pack

Sorry to be a pain Ben

Just at the moment am better off running V1.1

Finally got a chance to maiden my 500pro and 600pro. The cgy on the 500way came with v1 so I updated it to v1.1. The cgy on my 600 came with v1.2 so I tried it. Took about 2 flights to get the 500same dialed in and 1 for the 600. Both Heli fly really well. So far so good. I only put 3 flights on the 600 with the v bar 5.1 but it feels the same. I just need to speed it up. Only put 1flight on the 500 with v bar 5.1 and its pretty close too. Didn't get a chance to fly the 700. The cgy for that one came with 1.2. Its setup and will fly tomorrow. I put over 100 flights on my old 700e with v bar 5.1 so im really wanting to check that one out.

Ok I give up. I can't get it to piro flat or fly well. When I do a big look the heli drifts to the left at the top of the loop. And most of the time when I plug it in the tail wont initialize.

How do you return? Send to Futaba?

IT's what I do.

Given the problems would you suggest holding off upgrading to the latest version?

Just flew 700e trex with v1.2 and it was almost perfect with 50 50 50. Small bounce on elevator when I move the stick forward or back fast but not during moves. So far no drifting or any other issues on all 3. I put atleast 200 flights in my old 700e with v bar. If no one told me I wouldn't have knew the difference.

Mine came with v1.1 and for various reasons hasn't actually been installed in my SpectraG yet.

I've upgraded to v1.2 on the bench anyway as I'll be using JR DS8915's (US 8717)on my cyclics.

It will be a fresh install but shall I revert back to v1.1 or try it as it is?
