Hi all I have been having nothing but problems with my fury.55 and its vbar.

When I first got the machine I thought I had vibration issues.
I then balanced hub+fan and fine tune the new .55 ...Still having problems

The tail would kick HARD! When just off of the ground and I try any tail input. Other times it drifts, sometimes with and sometime against the torque. Also on power up it would send the tail slider all the way to one side on the bench even with the machine off and perfectly still.

I have another v-bar on my X5 (mini) and shows non of the problems I'm having with my fury.55 I thought the lights flickering was normal for the full size unit but I don't think like THIS..

I know its suppose to change colour but, turning off all together blinking and staying a solid colour then blinking off then back on

Is this unit defective??

Thanks for any help

This unit need to be replaced.

Either go direct to Mikado and get a replacement or through the dealer.

If purchased from ReadyHeli, create a online ticket and I will make sure it will be replaced straight away.

Yeah any piece of electronics that turns on and off by touching the wiring or the unit is no good. I am surprised you tried to fly it....that could have been BAAAADDDD!!

In this case it's probably not as bad, the LED was off since the center of the sensor was out of sync, when touched it moved = LED comes on.
When sensor is stable at center = it cycle through.

Meaning it worked, just offcenter.

Just a guess but otherwise the Vbar would not boot.

I kid you not, I was actually flying aggressive when the symptoms would kick in with a hard tail jerk and uncommanded tail movements (cyclic was OK it seemed)

On initial set up I never noticed the glitch in the unit, it would only start to flicker when the engine was on. That's why I thought it was a vibration problem at first.

Yep, it could of went all wrong! Truthfully it almost did yesterday at the field. The close call is what made me investigate the problem further.

Cheers,
Raven
