Some Sunday morning food for thought...
Socialism (and communism) state that people's "needs" override other people's rights to keep property.
When "need" becomes a currency, (currency being defined as something you can use to obtain goods and services from another), human nature dictates that people will compete for ever increasing amounts of "need." By this logic, the people with the most need will be the most entitled to property of other people.
It doesn't take long for everyone to see that "need" is worth more than property.
