Found these on ebay for $5 a pair.

The will work with the push on type standards as well but I use the thumb screws and they are perfect for it.

I literally never use the word literally right.

Nice!

I have RC Booya but they would be so much better if they were in two parts that screwed together like yours.

Rc Booya sells something similar, except in hard plastic, for use with their mounts. I just installed a set in my 7hv, and they are great.

That's better than gluing the grommets to the canopy.

Not the best. They won't even work on mine.

Need thumb screws so the canopy doesn't get ripped off going backwards.

Looks nice, it would work better on a plastic canopy, from what i see in the picture there is no sideways protection, the o rings are for a snug fit, the holes would eventually elongate, just like using a thumb screw without grommets.

There has to be movement to get wear.
The "snug fit" prevents movement.
They won't budge on or off the heli.

The two halves are tightened down really tight on the canopy.

The caps that Wc show are just that, "a cap" should you have a canopy nut setup that have a thumb screw, they serve no purpose. The set that Mckrackin has are perfect for a thumb screw setup like he has . I use the RC booya canopy screws, these metal grommets that Mc posted would be a nice addition to protect my canopy.
