I REALLY hope they bring out a BNF "FULL BRUSHLESS" version soon, mine in stock form is a piece of crap.

...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

Might be a reaction to the clone that just came out.

Hey Michigan, where are you seeing $129 for the BNF on the HH site? If I look at the Beta site and their current site it's still $169

I don't think they did. There was slot more than this that changed. Looks like they are working hard.

I would recommend checking out the helifreak sticky threads to do the following mods: make a Z bend in the rear servo arm (prevents breaking weak rear swash ball), once you break your stock boom replace it with 6" solid 2mm CF rod (better tail hold because of the length/leverage increase and better durability), after about 30 flights you'll need to do the grommets on the swash balls mod to reduce slop, after about 50 flights you'll need to start cleaning the servos (requires taking them apart but the HF forums detail the process, very easy and it will stop servo twitches that you'll eventually get), also invest in some aftermarket batteries (lightning power are the best IMHO). Also the RTF was never $284 to begin with, I think I paid around $220 when it first came out through HH..

GOT IT
so yesterday my mcpx showed up i haven't got time to actually mess with it yet and most likely won't till monday due to the honey do's list seems like that list never ends ... anyway the owner at the local hobby shop called and talked to horizon they told him that the reason for the price drop was due to the rtf not selling and they have a bunch of them main seller was the BNF hope it flies ok with the RTF radio ?? Now to figure out what needs to be done to make it live and hold up someone suggested the z bend in the rear servo arm ?? what else before the first flight needs to be checked or done

wife says if i'm going to be an addict at least its to a heli

I have the RTF that I paid $220 for and it flys fine with the stock radio. I'm sure that it would be better with a computer radio but the rtf one is OK.

Anything is possible if you don't know what you are talking about!

We have broken the link balls and are now each on our second swash plate. I went metal for mine and will be getting my son one for his birthday next month.
