This was taken during an engine break-in period where you had to check the oil level every hour but required an initial 2 hour break in flight.

That will never work, he forgot to wipe the oil off the dipstick, then reinserting it before reading the level.

A minor detail :-) It was the thought that counted.

He needs to go back out and do it again. So how was the oil in the other engine?

We only changed the left engine.

And rewired about all of it. Strangely enough it all worked the first time. This short film is going to decribe why we had to change it. It should be interesting.

What I thought was strange about it was the pilots hand looks completely fake, but the rest seems to blend in.

Oh and I will never wear high heals OR a bikini Gotta draw the line somewhere.!!! I might be able to scrounge up a few models who might.

I think those shirt sleeves would be flaping a LOT more in the prop blast.

On a recent outing I was checking the balance of a re-installed prop and decided to check the prop blast velocity during full power static runup. I measured 100 mph in the prop arc.

I wonder how long it took to edit that video together ?

Those few seconds only took me a couple hours. Things I learned.

1. ALWAYS light your green screen, What you see and what the computer sees are often way different.

2. Color correction to make things match takes a long time, but it adds another level a believability.

3. 2 leaf blowers tied to a ladder can be a lot of fun.

This is just a small section of a short movie i am making to explain why we had to change the engine. Should be the most cheesy video ever put out. Yeah it will be fun.
