Hi all... I hope someone can help me.

I just finished putting together a T-Rex 450 3Gx. I think I have all the mechanical setups correct. I start to go through the FBL set up and I think I have a problem. When I get to step 3 which is Ele Rev, I tilt the heli and the Swash starts to move a little but then goes back to the neutral position. I thought the Swash should stay level no matter how you tilt the heli (am I wrong?)

The only thing I can think of is that I might have the transmitter setting wrong but I don't know where the problem may be. I am using a spektrum Dx8 transmitter and 2 remote spektrum receivers. (No problem binding)

Any ideas would be apprieciated.

Thanks

Bob

Sounds like the swash is working as it should.

Disclaimer: I am FAR from an expert!

I just setup my first 3GX the other day. Same thing, it does not respond as I had expected. I found a slow tilt was not enough to tell what was going on. I had to give it a quick flip, and then it was easier to tell the swash direction. It does not hold the change, it bounces back, but after a while it became clear which direction it was moving. In my case, I had to reverse both aileron and elevator. It might help to reverse it, so you can observe the change.

I hope that helps at least a little.

when you tilt the helicopter say forward the swash should move backwards. And same for aileron. It should counteract the way its tilting and the swash should basically ramain level for a second. If you need setup help pm me i just set one up.
