Y am I so confused? Do you set up a dx7 to 1 servo or 3? It tells you to turn off mixing and then to adjust mixing. Witch is it? Do you use the ccpm mixing or travel adjust depending on number of servos. Maybe I'm thinking about the beast set up to much. I don't know need help

In the instructions it clearly states to use 3 servo CCPM. Page 10 in the 600FBL manual states that the mixing should be setup in the TX.

yep - 120 swash setup and get the +/- swash %'s correct so the sticks move the swash the right direction. Then go through the buttons on the 3GX to get the correction going the right direction.

To be fair it isn't clear on the 3GX setup if you've never seen an Align 3G before (like me). I had to re-read it on the 3GX software setup screens a couple of times to figure that out also.

I've wondered why Align still uses 3 servo setup where others use 1 ??? It's a tech reason I'm sure but keep at it and it will work out . I went from a Vbar to a Total G and from lack of reading SLOOOW !!! I had a fun time on setup and some stupid calls to Brian

I stole it ,flew it and gave it back ;)

swash at 120 3g and 3gx the same. Mixing off as in aileron to rudder ect.. 3gx setup can be difficult i think if you havent setup the 3g that was a downside to it. If wouldnt have setup the 3g i would have been lost

Big reason for letting the tx make the calculations is it is faster and the FBL unit just needs to make corrections after the input is given taking away that annoying delay from radio to heli. Great feature if you ask me.
