I have the telemetry setup on my DX8. I just spooled up my newly built 700n with it. I used the 8.2:1 ratio in the telemetry menu for gearing. Using the Align sensor on the clutch magnets. The reading I got kept going between 21000 to 41250 on rpm's. What am I missing on setup? Using Ar7100r with a T in the line for it and to the telemetry module for the rpm reading.

Thanks

I can take a look at how mine is setup on the TX when I get home. The TM1000 has a red LED that flashes every time the sensor sees the magnet. Does it flash just once per spin when spinning the clutch bell by hand? Is is possible you have the connection to the TM1000 flipped somewhere? How did you tap into the sensor? When I did mine it was the signal wire only

Sorry for delay. Have not had much time lately to look at it. I have it hooked into the Align sensor. It than goes into a Y harness. One end goes into the TM1000 and the other goes into the AR7100r receiver. I have the power side of the harness disconnected that goes into the TM1000 from the Align sensor. Only the signal wire plugs into the transponder. If I spin the blades normal rotation I get flashes sometimes. If I rotate the blades backwards. I get like 13 flashes per full revolution of the blades. Plugged the sensor into the Align governor and same thing happens. Forward direction sometimes. Backwards direction multiple times on flashes. Checked magnets to make sure both were an opposite N and S pole on them. Used another magnet and one magnet on the clutch attracts to it and the other repeals it. So I know the magnets in right. Also thought about hall effect sensors having a certain way the are triggered. Depending on what end of magnet and what face of sensor. This should not matter because there is the North side and the South side facing the sensor. Was thinking of turning sensor around on mount and see what happens on the signal. Odd it picks up one way constant but not the other when turning the drum. Even thought about lowering the sensor closer, but it getting signal so this doesn't seems like it is it. New heli was going to maybe see about trying it this weekend and breaking engine in. Maybe just run it in non gov mode until I figure out what is wrong?
