Take a look at Schulze's fut-xxl-40.303K, rated for 300 Amps continuous, 400 Amps peak for 15 s,
or the fut-xxl-40.333K with even 10% higher ratings:
http://www.schulze-elektronik-gmbh.de/index_uk.htm

Ok, performance comes at a certain price

Thilo

Interesting...
I wonder how many amps would saturate the core. I doubt the core material/structure is different than the normal 4035 III motors.

You may want to consider 160 as an absolute minimum.

I asked Georges personally he said Jive 120hv will not handle that motor YGE 160hv is what he suggested.

If it peaks at 300A and if Scorpion says it does and will in flight then a Jive 120 with a 40' heat sink insn't going to help. That is the biggest, baddest, monster motor on the planet at the moment.

If you want a K, you are going to have to wait for the Kosmic 160. It is rated for 160 continuous and like 250+ bursts.

You might be alright though, no battery exists in the Rc hobby that can put out 300A for more than a split second so... Can't pull it if you can't get it.

People used much more bad wounded 4535LE motors for a long time with their jive 120HV. I think it was either lower RPM for 800MM blades or very high RPM/pitch for speed flying, the jive can do 240A+.

Should be ok

As it has been noted, Georges says a Jive 120 can't handle it. If you can prove him wrong more power to you.
