I talked to the wife. We're gonna stay in Plano with her cousin. How far is grapevine from there?

It's about 30 to 40 mins depending on which part you're coming from. I'm in the colony and it's about 30 mins.

Justin what's the ETA from Plano?

Sounds like were cooking with gas....

Chad,

I work in Plano. The drive will be about 40-45 minutes depending on the time of day. Early Sat. morning will be fine I bet.....

There was some crazy airport road construction last year so it took me about an hour from Plano, but hopefully it will be faster this year.

We will be coming from Coit at McDermott. How far/time would you figure from there? My wife said that there is a new toll way/expressway that drops the drive time to 15 minutes? Sound about right?

If you head north on Coit and then head west on 121, in an ideal world you could get there in about 30 minutes as it is probably not more than 25 miles distance. However I do not know the Grapevine area well enough to know what kind of construction projects are out there right now. Last year I headed out 635 west and near the DFW airport got bogged down in bumper-to-bumper construction traffic for quite a long time.

It ain't that bad anymore.. I live in North Dallas and I fly out there every weekend.. I take 190 to 114 and it takes me 20 minutes to get there at the most.. And that's stopping for Gatorade and slurpees.. We flew out there today from 9.30 to 4 and it was clear both ways..

Yes, but we still want to see you pack your trunk to the max with your generator!!!

Did you ever upgrade to the larger one you wanted?

Generator? I've got a Honda 2000i. But it sounds to me like all I need to bring is an extension cord. I like that.

Do you guys have an address that I could plug into my GPS for the field?

Gotta a special "OLD" school guest coming with me to Andy's funfly.. Riding his Harley all the way from Tyler.. He did "flybarless" when flybarless wasn't cool.. or fun. Believe it or not they actually used to suck really bad and flew like crap! Hehe..
