Hey all, I'm new to the electric helis and need some info. I'm looking at buying a 600e, but don't know what motor and ESC to look for. I would just like your opinion. The one I'm looking at buying is a T-Rex 600cf FBL (Beastx V2) with a Scorpion HK-4035 500KV motor and an ICE 80HV ESC running on 12s. DS610's on cyclic, and DS650 on tail. How does this setup sound? I don't want to buy a heli that won't fly hard when I need it to. All opinions are welcome and appreciated. I'm not running the user down that is selling it on here, I just want to get opinions from multiple people.

That is a pretty good set up for a 600! Close to what I run on a Logo 600, the only difference would be a mini V Bar and BLS servos. You shouldn't have any problems with that heli. IMHO

I have that motor ESC combo and it works great on my Logo 600. 12S amps are usually around 40 with spikes rarely going over 100 amps. The DS 610's are plenty fast and powerful as well on both Logo and Trex 600's.

High Voltage just works better

Close to what I have on my streached Razor 600 except I run 10S (2X 5S).
Just get a good HV BEC and your perfect.

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?

I've found a benefit to running my BEC off of one of the two flight batteries is that you can plug in the one battery and have control of your electronics for aligning stuff, programing gyros etc...The motor won't initialize until you've plugged in the second battery to the wire harness.

High Voltage just works better
