Well, I decided to sell my X50 that was a bad ass 3D heli! I was just afraid that I would crash it. It was blinged out.It was just to much for me as I am still learning to fly again. So I got a Trex 600N from a friend who is getting out of nitro's. I also got a Trex 450 Pro, hehehe!!!

Its just a basic G10 (I think) airframe with TT and plastic grips. I know its not carbon fiber. I am going to keep it stock this time. Not going to do any upgrades like I usually do!!! So I won't be afraid to fly it and worry about crashing it. I can get parts any day at my LHS!!!! Had to order the front gyro mount. So have to wait on it. Hopefully it will be here before the weekend so I can set it up and fly!!!!

Here's what it has:

Trex 600N airframe w/ TT
OS Hyper 50 w/ CY MP5 pipe (Moved pressure tap on back side for a cleaner look)
Align DS610MG's on cyclic
Align GP780 gyro w/ S9254 on tail
Align Gov
Hitec HS635HB on throttle
Align 2-n-1 Regulator w/ Fromeco 2S 2600mAh Li-Ion battery
Spektrum AR7000 w/ Satellite
CY 600mm SB's
Outrage paddles
Align tail blades
Added a header tank

So here's some pics:

Sweet bird. I didn't know they made a g10 version. You'll be replaceing the grips on the first crash

My 1st Trex 600N!
Thanks.

I'm not sure what the frames are. They don't have the look of a carbon fiber frame. I could be wrong.

in one pic i thought it was carbon frame in the rest it looked like g10 or plastic wich im now wondering if there aftermarket frames

either way great its an awesome heli. im collecting parts in peices for my 600 n pro im about hald way there gota get cyclics and tail servo and some kinda reciever power supply, might just mod a 40 amp esc to supply power to the bird with 3 cell 2200 battery

im studying your pics, i think its carbonfiber i dont see the serial number so maybe the frames are flipped inside out. the pic of the right side of the bird definatly looks like carbon fiber and so do the frame ends.

My 1st Trex 600N!
I was talking to my cousin and he said they are carbon as well. I drilled a hole for my header tank and it is definitely not plastic. The residue was a grayish power like substance. I think they are aftermarket. Will get ahold of my friend I bought it from and confirm.

Good luck on your build Evan03!

I would re-do the fuel feed from the header to the engine. Get rid of the yellow shut off and use the black one that you have as a plug for your refueling line. Shorten up the entire length and get rid of that upward loop where it comes out of the header. The fuel line does not have to be supported there.

Have fun with your 'new' bird.
