Unless you fly like Bert, you should be able to get 5 minutes out of that machine. My guess is your headspeed is too high try 1950-2000.

A good FBL system is better in every way compared to a flybar. Longer flight time is just one benefit.

Sincerely doubt that unless it is damaged. How many Ah are you able to put back in after a full flight? I used Turnigy packs on my 6S T-Rex 600. I also used Zippy (one step below Turnigy) packs in my 12S Logo 600 without any problem.

50W is just way too small for large packs! Ideally, you should get one with at least 500W and 20A capacity. If your on a budget, the Icharger 208B or 206B would be a good choice for large single pack charging, but you need 500W to max out newer 5Ah, 6S packs at 4C charge rate. 1000W needed for 8C charge on ThunderPower G6 Pro Performance 45C pack. TP G6 Power Pro needs 1500W at 12C charge rate. So now you can see how rediculous a 50 watt charger is.

I use the Icharger 3010B (1000W) and FMA Direct/Revolectrix PL8 (1344W). You will need a stout power supply to go along with the high powered chargers.

That's the Icharger parallel charging four 4Ah, 6S packs at once. Takes just 30 minutes to charge all.

I don't know about watts meaning, but I told before that any incrases in watts means it will charge faster than lower watts, fo instance 1000W will charge 6s 5000mah with 30 min and 50watts with 1 hour

i use a 200w turnigy with a homeade computer power supply. im limited to 10amp charge. most all bigger capacity batts want more then 10 amps now days. a 5c charge rate 5000 mah battery wants 25 amps.

this turnigy is awesome for 450 to 500 size birds but ounce into 5000 batteries its weakness shine. but it only cost 50 bucks after shipping and is a great bargain with 3 or 4 batteries a 600 size bird will get alot of fly time and this charger is cheap enough you could have to plugging away on your batteries as your flying.

ill get big i charger one of these days, but then i need I think a 24volt power supply

I've had a 600 ESP set up as both. I liked it as both. FBL flies better in that the heli does exactly what you tell it too and nothing else. I was learning hurricanes at the time that I switched and fast backwards flight just seemed easier to me.

When someone tells me they are only getting 3 minutes out of a flight pack, I must ask first, how old are they, then how many cycles do they have, then what is the ending voltage of the cells.

I have an old set of 3A Turnigy that I can only really get 3 usable minutes due to they have 180 cycles and are almost 2 years old. They come down at 3.85 volts left.

My newer set that only has 60 cycles get 5 minutes and drain down to 3.75 volts per cell and still have power at the end. The internal resistance of the newer pack is less than 10 on average. The internal resistance of the old pack is 25 on average. As the IR goes up, you can't draw as readily from the pack as voltage drops tremendously under load.

High Voltage just works better

Just get 40C Zippy packs from hobby king. Voltz seem to be big time puffers.
