Brian, the ElyQ Vision 50 Comp is a very light heli. It will hover as well as any other properly made/built heli. I recommend going FBL with it. If you are a 3D pilot, the floating flybar will limit cyclic throws due to linkage collisions. If you want the most out of the 50C, go FBL.

Here's a link to the "official" ElyQ 50C building tips thread here on RR.

BK- I have flown trex, raptor, js models ect... Let me tell you what the elyq is on a different level. Its super stable yet so so fast on cyclic. And when i went fbl it was insane. The build and parts are very good quality. I highly reccomend you join the club Goto rcheliworkz.com or call over there and talk to chris he will answer any question. He has the best price on the net for elyq. If you got any questions about it, the build, help whatever let me know or pm me.

You wont be disapointed
BK479,

As the others have said, go with the FBL version. You will be much happier. However, Noah Wiley flys the flybar version and he can really put a hurting on that heli. He used it to fly in the IAN competition at IRCHA and placed in the top 3. I currently have the 50 and a 90. I have built several other 50's and made them all FBL versions. Also, I have used the Beastx which I love. And I also would call over to RCHeliworks and deal with them. They will answer any questions you have and also will make you feel right at home. If you ever find a different price on the web, just call and talk to them. They will make it worth your while.

And we are always available on the forums for help. If you have questions about the build or parts, feel free to post or to PM me and I will help you out.

Thanks,

Jamie Dumanski
