Great job!

Are you using an OSD? With AHI?

Which one?

Can you show us pictures of your setup?

It's easy to find an excuse to do wrong. Hard is not to find an excuse to do right.

Remember guys, he is down-under so various effects make him a better flyer.
(Why is it down under, why does the northern hemisphere consider it to be up ? It's all relative)..
1) The Coriolis effect is reversed.
2) Being closer to the south pole reverses the magnetic field.
3) Nano molecular inversion causes tripodal rectilinear photon emission.
4) Phase locked rotational gravity waves are surfaced polymeric to remedial correctional gravatron scattering.
5) klaktronic variable excitably fracturing is not likely to effect his flying.
.
.
OK, OK, I meed to get out and fly. Just wish I was as good as juz70

You really got nice control of that
Is it fixed pitch or have you managed to make it collective pitch? I've seen you do some momentary loops and rolls but not sure if you can sustain inverted flight.

I flew one in FL FPV with fixed pitch and I'm waiting until they become collective pitch before I'd invest in one personally would like better control than motor rpm variation.

Good stuff, you're the best!!

rbort, I'm guessing but perhaps the forward flight is the key to better altitude stabilizing. The slow reaction of the motors compared to variable pitch certainly changes the way you manage flight controls.
When you come down next year I'll have my bigger quad setup with FPV and you can practice with that.

Yeah that Stingray is doing GREAT! I can take off and land it all FPV alot more stable than the decathlon, a little faster but smooth and more like a pattern ship. I can deal with that good flying around the field, the quad it a little more tricky for sure!

Pete, I've seen those before also and wonder why they have not done them on quads yet. Once you fly a collective pitch helicopter, you'll never want to fly one with fixed pitch. Its just more delayed in response and not quite as maneuverable. I'm SURE they will come out with collective quads eventually, just like the little MCP heli, once it became collective pitch its alot better
