Ok, your running 2300 in iu2 on both helis. Your trex therefore has 360 rpm for the governor to play with. Your Outrage has 490 rpm for the governor to play with. This is governor overhead or headroom.

But it's not using these RPM so I don't understand what you mean? I will be the first one to say I don't know much about this Richard, I'm trying to learn what I can. Thanks!

When you apply pitch to the blades doing anything other than hovering, the ESC has to increase the throttle to stop the rpm dropping, the more throttle it has 'overhead' the better it will be able to hold rpm during maneuvers and the rpm will be more consistant from start to finish.

Ignore what throttle % it says in the software.

Ok, so then if I'm understanding you correctly, if I actually lowered my ID2 Head speed, or actually lower all three, then the helicopter would be able to maintain a more constant headspeed throughout the entire flight?

That is correct. 2300 is way too much on a 600 anyway, but thats just me, if 2300 makes you happy go for it. 2300 was almost needed 5 years ago when we were flybarred and you had to squeeze out every drop of performance to get good cyclic speed and pitch response, with FBL we don't need such crazy HS's and we can really start to see the efficiency benefits and get much longer flight times which aids us to fly better.
