I had to do mine yesterday. I just heated mine in the oven for 15 min, and tapped on the bar and the sleeve fell right out. I cleaned up the housing and sleeve, placed the housing back in the oven and the sleeve in the freezer for about 5 min, coated both surfaces with green locktite and the sleeve just fell into place. I was able to seat the sleeve with my finger. Much like changing bearings in an engine.Jay Hall

Ya Jay. That's how the first one I did worked but I've had one or two not come out after heating them in the oven and tapping. I guess it's hit or miss!Futaba, Thunder Tiger, Castle, Optipower, Rail Blades and ProgressiveRC!!

Hey Paul, it seems it is more likely on electrics especially with the extremely powerful motors like the 4525 520LE and the newer governors that are so incredibly efficient/fast.
That being said...it seems kinda random as well. I've green locktited every hub, and the one Ive got now has not failed for over 80 flights...but another one that was green locktited slipped within 10 flights.
I would just fly it! If it slips the key is to not allow it to spin/slip for too long so as not to score out the aluminum and therefore increasing your tolerance.
