I have inverted and upright funnels down pretty well now, half decent double and single piro flips, hurricanes backwards forwards inverted upright and have started piro tic tocs, piro rainbows and one more thing I don't know the name of. I think its called a mobius loop. At 2:41 Alan Szabo does a few of them and moves on to other moves. The Heli flips from side to side ending inverted then back upright.

Watch at YouTube

If its fixed don't break it.

Thanks RC. On the real Heli I'm just doing back flips, inverted nose in hovering and rainbows. I'm having trouble keeping my 450 running lately so I have been making good use of the sim. Plus it gets dark so early in the winter months. I didn't get to fly this evening because it got dark.

I have been practicing every variation of piro tic tocs I can think of... nose down, nose up, side ways, and also working on them nose in, tail in, nose right and left as well. Those take a while to get, I'm finally getting to where I can keep it going back and forth 4 or 5 times on the nose up and nose down piro tic tocs on the Aurora Ultimate 90.

Starting to work on upright piro figure 8s now, I'm doing circles ok but the piro figure 8's are a little tuffer.

Maybe one day I'll be able to do half this stuff on my real Heli. LOL!

If its fixed don't break it.

blade, I'm sure you can do this on the real heli. Usually there is a fear factor of hurting yourself or having to pay to fix a heli that holds us back, but generally I think you can pull off most of what you can on the sim. Is the 450 your only heli right now? What kind of issues are you having?

Hello RCDebutz, Yeah the 450 is my major Heli right now. A few things holding me back on the real Heli are my tree crowded area to fly, mechanical failures, weather, dark early, unforseen crashes, work, money etc,. It seems like something is always wrong with my Heli. Now the one way bearing has locked up on me and quit free wheeling. That doesn't make it unflyable but one more thing to fix.

Now that I can charge my batteries at 2C in 30 minutes instead of 1.5 hours, I don't get beat out of as many evening flights. I'm loving my new Venom 2-10 charger with the HP DPS-600PB series ESP135 12v 47 amp Power Supply.

I'm getting piro 8s down on sim now half upright half inverted and working on piro loops. I can do four piros per upright loop for 2 loops now without getting too out of sort. I work my piros to where im going forward at 12, 3, 6, and 9 O Clock.

If its fixed don't break it.

I found out what was wrong with my EXI 450 one way bearing. The cage that the rollers are inside of wore out on the lower end of the bearing allowing ythe loose ends of the cage to to crawl up on top of the rollers locking up the one way bearing completely which is better than not grabbing at all. I'd rather it lock up than not grab at all.

If its fixed don't break it.

Yeah, those bearing failures are a learning lesson for sure. Keep pushing though bud, you'll be past those mechanical hiccups in no time.

As I said before, this is probably the best "how to" fly videos for flight sims out there. Dieter really helped the rc community with these videos.

Thanks, you have done an excellent job with these videos.
They are well produced and the instructions are simple and clear.
They are the best I have seen.
I have Pheonix and am making an honest effort to get my DX7 set up correctly. Right now it doesn't seem very true to life.
All models are really squirlly.
I also have RealFlight, I don't use it at all.
My all time favorite is the original Reflex XTR. It is just like flying my real helis.
Anyway keep up the good work.
