On my first flight of the day I lost the tail on my Odin. I was able to auto in and only broke the skids. After further inspection i noticed the pin in the pulled had sheared!

I'm running the metal pulley. I no longer have confidence with the hollow pin and would like to use a solid pin. Has anyone done this?

while i havent had a chance to fully get out with my odin and start to see what it can do, i too am a little uneasy of the "hollow" pin. you can try and go to an ace hardware and true value and see if they have any roller pins that small. i have pins from other helis in one of my spares case and will be changing the plastic pulley to the metal one and will be replacing the hollow pin with a solid one and using a piece of shrinkwrap to help hold it in place considering there is no set screw to hold it.

or you could use a piece of piano wire from the hobby shop and just add a bend at each side to keep it from coming out if you wanted to do it the quick-n-easy way

I was thinking about doing the same! I might go one step further and use epoxy before adding the shrink tubing.

If I remember correctly odin 90 had problems with the bill ever since it was created. sounds like it still has some issues.
Bring the old pin with you and the approximate length goto a hobby shop inc its a rc car axle. Match it up to the correct size axle for a drive shaft & it should not breaking again. As for glue or epoxy that is a bad idea eventially you will need to get it off

only you have the power to make no difference!
