I cannot wait for this new heli. I have enjoyed flying Synergy products since the N9 released and just recently switched over to electric. This is going to be the heli for me. Was also privileged enough to get to see Matt demo the helicopter at the Snohomish FF.

My set up idea's so far.

Batteries: TP 6s 4400 x 2
Motor: KDE Direct 700XF-495
Servos: Futaba BLS252
Tail Servo: BLS251
FBL system: Futaba CGY750
ESC: Kontroniks 120HV
Main Blades: Rails 696
Tail Blades: Rails 96

I CANNOT WAIT!

Thanks,
Chris

After carefully viewing many helis up close at Ircha and speaking with Matt I will order and build an E7 as well. I love building and trying new machines. I will build mine as an E7 but with some monster power .

Matt says "soon", and that "the price is going to be very competitive with the other 700's out there".

That's good to hear that the price will be competitive with other 90 size helis. I'm looking forward to hearing the reports and trying one out.

He said "The kit will come with the parts to make it a 600 or a 700". I guess that means 2 tail booms and 2 belts in the box.

Yep, the kit is officially a 700 class and comes with the parts necessary to convert it to an E6 (Shorter boom, supports, belt, tail control rod, smaller head bolts).

So it's not 600 that you stretch, it's a 700 that you can shrink.

The head bolts are swappable and have sleeves to adjust the sizes, very innovative.

Very light, simple design and very beefy heli with that Matt Botos "no compromise" engineering.

Yep, but I tell people this a lot, not all belt drive systems are created equal, the belt system in the new Synergy helis are in a class of their own, very smooth and it and doesn't drag the system down in autos, even Matt prefers his belt drive over a torque tube.

I can 2nd that with running the Jive ESC govoner the tail is holding true. The only thing you need to do is keep that belt tight.

The belt drive is very smooth, I saw the demos.
But I still prefer TT. Personal preference or what.
