Hello, I am lost at this point i have a trex700 nitro and a Rave env nitro both have the cgy750. My Rave when i was setting the Piro section the swash tilted back i turned it clockwise and it went to oppisite direction so i reversed it. I then took it out to fly it and it was awesome. Now i get to the trex700 and when i got to piro section the swash tilted forward i move heli 90 degrees and swash tilts the way i am turning it, so i finish and fly, and it is no good its not staying in track like the Rave did, so i thought maybe i should have reversed it in piro comp , so i do and still the same thing, so then i check my tracking in normal mode, Its perfect. Rite now i am scrathing my head. Also i have another cgy750 and it was one of the first to come out without the piro compensation, I have the download and the ciu-2 , but what do i plug in the port on the ciu-2 so i can download? Thanks Joel

+1 sounds like phase comp is not on in the CGY unit. Even if you reverse the direction it will do nothing if you dont activate it.

CIU connects to the CGY with a standard ext. Read the update instruction file, very simple:

I think its maybe Rot.Equa, I cant check it now or I would, but one of the two menus will activate it....

Either way you need look it over and make sure that when turning the heli say 90deg the swash direction keeps the same slope during equalizer direction setup.

I remember having to take a step back on my Rave with this same issue and it was just not active. If you keep having trouble I would say go back to default on the swash and start over.

Hope you get it sorted out

yes sorry that is what I was getting at. With my 700 I tried it "on" and it did NOT piro good at all. Soon as I turned it off it will piro perfectly flat all day long. The phase equ is if you have phasing issues and if you do not have any it will work against you, trying to fix something that is not there.

You also set the proper rpm for the flight modes in the gov menu?

Great point chopper! You have to set your headspeeds in the cgy gov even if you are not using it. The piro comp needs to know the headspeeds to work proparly.

no the nitro is fin cause you are using the gov. With the 550 turn the gov on. Set your headspeeds for normal, idle1 and idle2. Then turn it bacck to throttle and you should be good to go.

"... you must configure your governor menu in the transmitter to reflect the rpm settings for your hover and idle up(s) and have the S.Bus configured in the 750 for the correct governor speed selection channel. When you do it this way, you'll see the RPM switch on the 750's screen when you change flight conditions. It has to be done this way so the system will know the rpm has changed with flight condition even though the 750's governor isn't controlling the rpm.

I don't own a 750 but is there any chance your CG is off? A FBL heli will not piro right no matter if it has piro comp or not if the CG is off......worth a try

I know it is a nitro and everything is pretty much set but check anyway....

Do you have the older head block or the new one where the washout is part of the block. If you have the old one check to make sure it is lined up right. Also what gains are you running on the 700?
