We have received the first batch of the new Xera 4530-500 motors. As with all Xera's these are very well made and individually hand balanced. We will have these at IRCHA. Price is $350

The numbers looks good 10,000 watt peak and 5000 watt continuous. Wow. I would like to give this a try. This could be an alternative to the 4525 LE....

I will be able to post a direct comparison Wednesday night... I'm dropping out a Scorpion 4525-520LE for this Xera. It looks promising...

Is this really a hand wound motor. If it is what is the thickness of the wire. I was just about to pull the trigger on a 4525LE but this motor has me rethinking that decision. Not to mention how sexy that all black look is!!!

Its not really advertised but the stators are hand wound. I dont know what the wire guage is but if it like the other ones they will be multistrand.

Hand-wound doesn't mean anything. Taking the following image as reference it looks like multi-strand:

I have Xera motors in all my machines and they are awsome. I don't have to touch them at all and the just work.

I can't wait to add one of these stump pulling motors to one of my new 90 sized e helis.
