I am not into hard 3D just basic stuff, does any one have any thoughts or first hand experience on these two gyros that I may buy and install on my trex 450SA. One is from hobbyking; 401B AVCS Digital head lock, the other is from Xheli; Detrum GY48V HH Head lock,I would like to chose the better of the two. I know there are much better ones out there. Thank you.

hk 401
I've used the hk 401 and it's not a bad gyro. had a little drift but do the mods to it and it will be fine for you.

Oh man I just bought those blades!

I'd recommend finding a used Futaba GY401 here in the classifieds. Tried and true gyro.

+1 on a used 401. I think they are going for 60 bucks. 50 if you are patient.

Yep kick back and relax...I just bought a Gy520 for $60

That use to be the price of a Gy401..seen them as low as $40

One thing you really don't want to go cheap on IMO

Good luck bro

401
I agree I bought a gy401 for like 45 bucks a couple of months ago. I was just saying that if you were on a really tight budget then the hk gyro isn't too bad. He did say he knew there were better ones out there but he was wondering about the cheaper gyros.

Oh man I just bought those blades!
