Hi guys,

I've just received a new Logo 600 3D boom and the length is longer than my previous one.

On the package it says:

#04098
755mm Logo 600 3D

I broke the Logo 600 clamp bits because I thought it wasn't bloody in far enough, should be ok to fly still, I just made sure it wasn't near the pulleys in the frame...

Anyone else noticed this??!?

It's only by roughly a cm or two.

Cheers,

Laurence

Yeah, not sure why but the 600 booms have been a little longer for a few months.

Since your stop tabs have sheered off make sure that your boom is pinned somehow. I had a 600 where the stops were gone and the boom moved forward into the pulleys. I'm still running without the stops on that machine but made sure the boom was pinned and it's never been a problem.

Thanks Fil!! I checked the length and it is a good cm and a half longer than it should be.. Jesus this kind of thing pisses me off.

Crap, not had to pin the boom before .

Thanks again mate.

Big thanks to Fast Lad Performance for sending me out another set of adapters! Finally I will be able to fly tomorrow! Hopefully Mikado will let me know why they changed the length..

Think maybe it was a 600SE boom wrongly packaged as a 600 3D boom?

Hi Erich,

It was not long enough to be a SE boom as they are a fair bit longer, I can get the belt on with this boom .

I have a boom on my 600 plastic that the boom seems to short on and I have a boom on my CF that the boom seems about 1/2" too long on lol.

All my new ones are longer than the older ones too. They still work fine.
