So Im going to ircha this year and right now am dealing with 116 degree heat in the shade. no joke. So I went on and look at forcast for Ircha. And there is a small chance of rain wensday and thursday. Like 30%. So If its raining at IRCHA, Like one morning. We should go and fly in the hotel with mcxp helis. 8) Or that night after night flying. Seems like a fun idea to me.
Super 8 Muncie if anyones down for it.

Stuck In The Heat !!!!!!!
We have been in the triple digits now for a few weeks too.....the 10 day forecast in Muncie looks to be the low to mid 80's.... some of our group (the REAL Arkansasians) are suggesting bringing COATS!!!!!!
If we get a little rain, be sure to visit the museum...it is a walk down memory lane for us "OLD GUYS"!!!!! It is also a lesson in how this hobby all started for the new guys that are just getting into it.... and it will be a "cool" place to hide out for awhile!!!!!

But, the heli flying at the Super 8 sounds like fun too!!!!!!

Latest 10 day shows lower 80's all week, sunshine. Only chance of rain is today Friday, Saturday, Sunday in the afternoon, 30%. Sitting here at site #4 waiting for the plankers to get done so we can start flying. Rumor is that NO FLYING will be allowed at all tomorrow, Saturday, August 6. Pattern finals on Sites #1,3. I don't know how we could affect them from site #4, guess their concentration isn't good enough. I'm sure there will be guys in the air though until they are told they can't.

The Signature Inn pool is where this usually takes place.

Then there is always the parking lot across the street where lots of carnage takes place.

Problem with plankers resolved! We can fly on site 4 tomorrow, Saturday.
All of AMA site will be open (unless there is some setup going on at site 4) Sunday for flying and NATS practice.
I talked with Craig the other night, he is arriving Saturday and is planning on setting up a couple of practice pads, probably on site 1 or 5.
