7.6 on a load will drop fast under a heavy load in flight and gyros will not hold .
I don't understand? A tail gyro won't hold with 7 volts coursing through it? I'm running a tail gyro/ccpm setup on a 4.8 nimh pack on my 90 and the tail holds no issues under any load/big tail slides ect.

My Vbar live display records low voltage spikes, I have my system regulated to 7.2 v and my low spikes are 6.8, or .4 v. I am no pro, but middle road pilot, all orientation and good transition work. My 700 flies for 6 to 6:30 min per flight.

I stop using the flight pack at 7.4 v, usually I catch it at 7.6, 7.7 etc. Bottom line after four flights I check it. As I stated earlier I get between 6 and 7 flights before the above threshold is met.

Should I change this practice? Am I doing something wrong?
