Hi,

I am new to FBL and been reading a lot about how you can add one or two satellites to the FBL command module.

What is this about? Is it a receiver satellite? I fly Futaba, so would it matter?

What does it do?

Sorry for the newbieness of the question.

It's easy to find an excuse to do wrong. Hard is not to find an excuse to do right.

Its spektrum satellites the talk is about, as you fly futaba, its SBus you should look at, where you can connect a RX with a single cable (thats what i run)

ok. Thanks.

Why would you connect the satellite to the fbl command module and not to the receiver?

Just curious.

The reason is simple. The Spektrum satellites are small receivers without all the wiring... they by connecting them to the FBL controller instead of a full receiver you eliminate a lot of the excess wiring...

No other reason than it's neater and cleaner.

Because the total g provides the power for sats so a receiver is
not necessary

oh... when you plug the satellite to the FBL you dump the actual receiver...

Understood. That's an installation shortcut for sure.

Thanks
