I need a new battery for my W 22E. It was a 9 cell 10.8v pack. I was quoted £35 from Overlander for one made up. What should I do? Is there an up to date alternative??

That heli is so old, better to upgrade as for the money you spend on it better get a new heli that flies much nicer

I guess that's right but it is a great flyer and I hate to see something binned just for the sake of a battery.

try ebay, sounds too pricey for a niMH pack.

First place I tried was ebay - surprised me that I found nothing. If I knew what lipo to use I might change to that.

I used a 3 cell lipo on mine. Measure the space you have to work with and start looking at the dimensions of the lipos available. Remember that you will have to check the balance of the heli with the new battery.

Thanks, this is what I have been wanting to hear. I assume I wouldn't need anything else, just the battery, wire it in and away we go..........is that correct!
