Endless debate but I read the Jive gov is "softer" in mode 11 than 4. Is this a reason to use mode 11 with the 4525LE to reduce strain on the geartrain? What mode are you TDR guys with the LE Scorpion using?

I have tried mode 11 with several motors and always went back to using mode 4. It just seems to run better. One thing I do is run a P-mix (Aux to Throttle) and assign it to a knob. This allows me to adjust the head speed up or down a bit to make up for older vs newer packs.

On a related topic does mode 11 prevent restarting with a partially depleted pack?

Reason I ask is was gonna have a go of a mate's heli & as it was getting too dark he pulled his lipo off the charger at like 90% full. His Jive refused to arm! Don't know what mode he programmed it but could be mode 11 preventing this as needs to see full voltage? Not sure if mode 4 does the same.

If so, that is annoying not being able to finish off packs if you flights are interrupted for some reason.

You should have no issue with mode 11. Assuming you have strong packs - have not seen anyone complaining about power with the 4525
