Hello, Can Spektrum DX8 Satellites and Telemetry be used witrh the Helicommand Rigid Unit.
If so where are the instructions on how to set it up.

Also Does the Helicommand Rigid have all the features that the HC3-SX has ? like self leveling etc...

I'm a beginner and not going to do any 3D so which unit would be best. I'm building a 700E Flybarless Heli.

Thanks,

No, it does not have ports for sat rx. You need to hook it up with the servo cables that are hardwired to the unit. It does everything the hc3-sx does plus it will do position hold when you're 2-15 ft off the ground. It is meant more for stable and level flying with the self-leveling feature, but it will do all the 3D you want with that feature turned off.
The Hc3 can do much faster 3D and have the bailout switch at the ready, has sat rx ports, s-bus, and a better tail gyro. Since it's the latest thing they released, it's probably the way to go unless you really need pos hold.
All the manuals are on the helicommand website.
A 700 is a very big heli to start with!
