Your scale head is great! I'm sorry if I said something wrong on that last post. I only meant to provide positive input. I like the 14mm blade grips because I can use this head on one of your UH fuses as well as the one I've got. For those of you getting the Huey scale head, be sure to remove the seesaw from the head before you test/dial in the head. Once you've got it where you want it, then reattach the seesaw. Also, the "butterfly wing" effect is called dihedral and is very common on some airplane wings. It helps to understand wing/rotating wing stability. It creates "coning" in the rotordisk and that promotes stability - at least in hover. Perhaps Mojave knows more about it = especially with respect to FFF. The head can accommodate 813 as long as your blade thickness is 14mm max.

Here is the video Smart Model UH1 Huey head. This is the first flight taken from a phone so there is no zoom and is a 2 part video. I’m flying a little wobbly maybe because the main shaft is not perfectly straight and also I’m running it on a regular 3G electronics that needs more adjustment I hope. I also need to change the thrust bearing because the bearings are loose from the casing plus the wind did not cooperate very well. I hope that the next flight will be better and clearer so i can really tell how it will behave with aggressive banking. Hopefully I will finish the paint job on the next video and install a BeastX or Vbar if I can’t dial in the 3G any further.

Here's my setup:

1. Mechanics: Align 600 main frame with Align 500 tail case to make it smaller in appearance.
2. Fuselage: Smart Model UH1-C unpainted 800 size
3. Cyclic & tail servos – DS610’s and DS650
4. Motor: Cobra 4130-300KV Brushless
5. Pinion: 11
6. Main gear: 115 M1
7. ESC: Castle HV110
8. Main blade: Align 800mm
9. Tail blade: Edge 115mm
10. Battery: 2X 5S 5000MAH
11. Head speed is around 1100 @ 100% TC & around 1000 @ 90% TC
12. And of course, the head is a UH1 by Smart Model for 10mm shaft that really works in my opinion. It was even driven by the first generation Align 3G that you can get now a days for $50.00.

Thanks Kin and I will be waiting and will look forward with whatever modification you did for the the UH1 head. Btw, I changed the weights on the flybar with lightweight material to stop it from swinging too much and it works perfectly.

Vinceisip,

I have that same head and I've not used the "flybar" yet. I was instructed to not use it until the head was set up and flying the way I wanted it. What did you used for the lightweight replacement material and did you just unscrew the weights and screw on replacements? Guess that's kind of a dumb question, but I thought of shortening mine a bit for a more scale appearance. Thanks
