Having a issue with the tail on my first Nitro Heli
I just got this Thursday and set up my dx7 and fueled her up today. It was wanting to tip over to the right and needed full right rudder input to keep from spinning counter clockwise once I popped it a few feet . I managed to land it. I noticed when I was setting up that the tail blades were spinning the wrong direction .I switched them around. Now my tail was off center on the boom. It was leaning to the right.would this cause the bird to want to tip Also. The rudder spins in the opposite direction of my Trex. 500 with Torque tube . Any advise would be awesome.

The tail on the C30 should spin counter clockwise which should be the same as most heli's. What gyro and servo are you using?

I'm thinking the guy I got it from( who never flew it) may of been tinkering and reversed the belt.

yea counter clockwise! if the heli wants to tip over the tail wouldnt cause this sounds like you have more problems then just you tail. I would go threw setup again level swash check paddles on fbl, make sure the belt is the right way and blades spinning counter clockwise. That gyro is a very good gyro if setup right.

Is the tail a belt drive?
Is the belt twisted the wrong way ?
The tail should be rotating up into the main rotor disk.

I'm thinking the belt is either twisted up or reversed. Left it at my Dads house because after running it I realized why electrics are so popular ( thing was a mess). But the rotor was spinning the opposite way of my TREX 500 with TT( so I know that one was going the right direction. Just wasn't sure witch way the Cal 30 was meant to spin.
